  • What is Earthwise™ and why is it important? +

    Earthwise™ is a growing consortium of window manufacturers that look to solve the issue of installing windows in a permanent location while capturing the value of economies of scale. National coverage allows for purchasing power and state of the art technology. Local representation allows for tailoring products to specific climate zones and geographic locations.
  • What region does RJT cover? +

    RJT Industries serves Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
  • Can I get pricing through the Web Center Online Ordering? +

    Contractors with open accounts at RJT Industries can get pricing through the Web Center online ordering.

  • Can I order in Spanish? +

    RJT Industries has staff on hand to help with Spanish speakers.

  • How far will RJT Industries deliver? +

    RJT Industries offers delivery from our Woodbridge and Richmond locations on our trucks. Common carriers are available for other deliveries.

  • Is there an extra fee for delivery? +

    Yes. The fee is $49.00 for delivery up to 50 miles.

  • Can I pick up my order at RJT Industries? +

    Yes. Orders may be picked up at both RJT locations.

  • How long will RJT hold my order? +

    One of RJT’s strengths is to provide orders when they are needed. In order to maintain a proper flow, we ask that an order be shipped within two weeks after completion.

  • What is included in a typical installation? +

    Factory Installation includes: site measurements, removal and proper disposal of existing products, installation of new products, confirmation of proper operation, exterior trim and sealing with approved sealants.

  • Will RJT measure my windows for me? +

    Yes. RJT has several measure programs available.

  • Is RJT certified to perform EPA Lead Safe Installation Methods? +

    Yes, we are certified to perform EPA Lead Safe Installation methods.

  • What is the standard warranty period for windows and doors? +

    Please see specific warranties for specific products.

  • Is there anything the installer could do that would void the warranty? +

    Yes. An incorrectly installed product can lead to stresses and strains the product was not designed for.

  • What is the parts policy under warranty? +

    Replacement parts covered under warranty that are so designated are available at no charge. The consumer has three options as to the labor required.

    1. If brought to an RJT location there is no charge for labor.
    2. Replacement parts can be sent to the consumer for replacement on site.
    3. A qualified service technician can provide and install the parts for a fee.

  • What do I do if the window or door doesn’t fit? +

    All of RJT Industries’ products are custom made to the contractor’s specifications. RJT is responsible for providing product according to the order placed.

  • Do you offer extended warranties? +

    No. Warranties are product specific and may not be extended.
